Jackson does just fine in this role as a road dog of 6 or fewer points playing out of conference. In fact, he’s 18-1 straight up against the NFC and 12-2-1 against the spread when not favored. He thrives as a dog, especially in games that shouldn’t matter as much versus games against AFC opponents. He’s the lynchpin here, the reason the Ravens have every chance of covering this 6-point line. The Ravens are 5-0-1 against the spread last six Monday Night Football games, and nobody gives them a better chance at covering than Jackson on the ground.
The 49ers have a fierce rush that should give Jackson some lanes to run. Be it escape routes or planned attacks, the Ravens will ensure Jackson carries the football upwards to 15 times. He will be the leading rusher, even out of necessity, stretching drives against a solid secondary. That gives the Ravens an extra weapon than just traditional runs to help open the ing game.

McCaffrey is the best rusher in the game and arguably the best receiver too. He will be heavily involved on multiple levels, especially if the 49ers are playing from behind.
Baltimore is struggling to slow down running backs both on the ground and in the screen game. The 49ers love getting McCaffrey the ball as fast as possible, including plenty of horizontal throws. Quick throws are the same as runs here, and the better play is to capture both rushing and receiving yards. Baltimore is OK in keeping up with the 49ers, but it’s going to come in the form of offense. Baltimore does great against the — eighth overall in opposing ing yards per game — but the 49ers aren’t going to rely just on chunk plays.
