BetMGM opened their odds with LSU Tigers at -130 on the moneyline for Game 3 with the Gators an even +100. That line quickly moved to LSU -145/Florida +110 despite the majority of bets coming in on the Gators.
According to data released on Monday morning by BetMGM, 59% of all bets are on the Gators. Despite the majority of bets coming in on Florida, 55% of the total dollars bet on the sides are on LSU. That means the smaller bets are on the Gators while the bigger wagers — typically sharp, but not always — are on the Tigers.
A similar trend is noticeable at DraftKings, reports that 65% of the cash has come in on LSU on only 48% of the bets.
There’s disagreement on who wins the game but a consensus on where bettors want to put their money when it comes to the total runs scored. BetMGM opened the total at 8.5 before moving to 9 after 83% of the money and 55% of the bets came in on the over.
Florida is turning to left-hander and two-way star LHP Jac Caglianone (7-3) on the mound. Caglianone enters with a 3.68 ERA.
