Schroder and the Nets are on the road in Orlando. The Magic’s defense is one of the best in the league, and the team plays at a slower pace.
Schroder started yesterday with Ben Simmons in, and I assume he’ll start today with Simmons out. Even if he does, however, and despite him projecting for 29 minutes, I’m pessimistic about this 21.5 number and have him at 18.5. If we want to give him a little more wiggle room and add a minute or two, Schroder is still projecting under 21.5.
Schroder is overrepresented in what is one of the worst matchups in the league. Therefore, we’re going with less than 21.5.

Donovan Mitchell M/L Than 35.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
The Mavericks have been playing well since the deadline and their defense looks good, but the Cavaliers are at full strength. This could be a big benefit for Mitchell.
I’m anticipating him playing 35 minutes. If the game remains competitive, he might even play 36, 37 or even 38 minutes. This gives him some minutes upside, and it’s a great opportunity for him.
While the Mavericks defense has improved, I’m not fully convinced by their defensive capabilities. Mitchell should excel in a situation where he wants to assert his dominance against Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, which is how Mitchell generally operates in these situations.
I have him pegged at 38.5 in only 35 minutes, so he is well clear of 35.5. This is one of the easier predictions for me and one that’s easy to root for.
