Let’s get the positive vibes going for Trea Turner. He’s back. The $3oo million man is hitting .333 in August with eight runs and 10 RBIs. Since he’ll be facing off against southpaw Yusei Kikuchi of the Toronto Blue Jays, let’s dive into Turner’s splits.
In his last 50 at-bats against LHPs, Turner is hitting .280 with three stolen bases, which is much higher than his .239 average this season. If we take a look at what he has done in August, it gets even better. He’s hitting .353 against LHPs and ranks just outside the top 20 in hits with six.
